Review: Shhh…Baby Sleeping door sign by Delight Designs

He’s finally asleep. You sigh in relief and head back to the kitchen from baby’s room. Then you hear it. Pat-pat-pat. Someone’s walking up the steps to your front door. Nooooooooooo! you harshly whisper. Too late. Ding-dong-ding-dong. Your door bell reverberates around the house. Wah Wah Wah!!!!! annnnnd he’s awake.

JessicaHello! My name is Jessica, and I am the momma behind Delight Designs. I wanted to create cute things for myself, and then others were asking for them as gifts..thus Delight Designs was born in 2011. First it was only “Please Knock Baby Sleeping,” but now I offer over 6 different versions, and I’m always looking for other cute ways to say DONT KNOCK! 🙂 -along with a handful of other cute gifts-

Little bit about Me:
Three babies call me Mommy, and I get to share life with my own Superman. Running shoes are on my feet every morning by 6am, and Mint Oreos are my weakness!

Jessica let me choose a sign to review. I decided on the “Shhh…Baby Sleeping!” sign and chose this cute polka dot background.

This wood sign measures about 6″ by 6″ and has vinyl lettering. It’s 3/4″ thick, so it’s quite sturdy.

The sign has two holes drilled in the top and twine attached, so it can be hung. You can hang it on the outside door to warn potential guests and delivery services, or you can hang it on baby’s door as a cute reminder!

  1. I think this is just adorable, but I’m afraid around my house it would definitely just be decoration, LOL. I have 3 little girls at home now and a baby boy on the way… the girls’ ages are 5, 2, and 1 so it is VERY rarely ever quiet in my house!

    1. Wow! Yeah, doesn’t sound like it’d ever be quiet, hahah! If you check out Delight Designs, Jessica makes some other great gift items. She has a word art/photo set that I think would be a wonderful gift for my mother in law and my mother!

  2. i love this, the doorbell or someone knocking always disturbs nap time- which is precious with 4 little ones sleeping

  3. This is great! It never fails that UPS wakes our little ones up at Nap Time. I learned that Delight Designs offers a ton of great signs and most you can change the background or wording.

  4. These signs are a great idea! My husband is always waking up our youngest when he gets home from work, (not on purpose, of course.) Our oldest wakes her up too, but that is so that she can have a playmate. :/

  5. I like the “Shhh..baby sleeping” sign, but not the one that says “Please Knock”….knocking will wake the baby!

  6. I love this idea! I live with my parents and siblings, I might need a bigger sign ha! Everyone knows how to be quiet while she’s asleep, they just don’t realize she’s asleep!

  7. I love the designs 🙂 My niece has a 15 month old and is due again this month! She needs a sign so I chose ‘the children’ are sleeping as one of my faves. That is of course assuming she will have both sleeping at the same time! lol

  8. My baby sleeps in our bedroom in the basement so she can’t hear the doorbell but the basement stairs act as a funnel to deliver noise right into the bedroom. This sign would be great for the door at the top of the stairs to remind everyone to hush!
