There’s a plethora of gifts out there for expecting and new moms, but what about daddy to be gifts? Daddy Scrubs helps fill that void with its line of expectant father gifts: scrubs, tees, mugs, hoodies, hats, and much more.
I recently received the “What Daddy Duck Loves” book and rubber duck to review with my family.

Written by Paige Nickell and illustrated by Curt Walstead, “What Daddy Duck Loves” tells the story of Daddy and his little ducklings and what they love to do together. It’s a beach setting and the artwork is fun and colorful. The story line of fun family activities leads up to the last page and ends with, “But what Daddy Duck loves more than all other things is to hold us all tight in his Daddy Duck wings.”
 Our Experiences with It:
As you can see above, Hubby and Baby J clearly enjoyed reading the book together, and Baby J loves to chew (and hold) Daddy Duck. Since my husband is an active duty Sailor, I get excited about anything related to dads if it’s something that can be used to make memories with our son. Baby J may still be a little on the young side for books to hold his attention, but as he and Hubby create a pattern of reading this book together, it will help Baby J when Daddy is deployed later this year. I can read the book to him, and also the rubber Daddy Duck can accompany him during bath time.
The book itself is quite sturdy and the pages are impossible to tear. I’m not sure what the book is made of, but it almost seems like a stiff cardboard. Baby J could probably gum it for quite a while before it starts to fall apart, but I’m not going to test that theory!
All in all, it’s a really adorable, fun book and duck. I think it would make a great gift for any Daddy, new or experienced.
