Today Mommy’s Little Miracle is featuring a brand who is taking the pumping world by storm and giving pumping moms everywhere the opportunity to combine fashion with functionality- Sarah Wells Breast Pump Bags!

When I had my son, I was fortunate to be able to stay home with him. I did use a pump often in the beginning, but didn’t have to worry about transporting it in anything special. Since I’m planning on returning to the workforce soon and hope to have more children, carrying a breast pump to work may be a necessity for me down the road. If that’s the case, I’d love to carry my pump in a fashionable, professional bag like those from Sarah Wells! -Elisebet

About Sarah Wells Breast Pump Bags

(As from their website)

The idea for a stylish and uber-functional breast pump bag came to me in 2011 after the birth of my daughter, Maddy. Breastfeeding was really important to me, but the transition back to work and carrying a¬†pump¬†brought about some challenges. Everyday I schlepped a purse and my (quite ugly) pump bag; throw in an extra case for my iPad or laptop and a lunch box and I felt like a pack mule walking down the streets of Washington, DC. I just couldn’t find an “all-in-one” bag that could¬†separately¬†store my breast pump and¬†everything¬†else I needed to carry.

I suppose you could put your pump equipment in your existing purse or buy a nicer tote. But will it have special breast pump pockets, keeping equipment and bottles¬†separate¬†from everything¬†else, let alone lined with easy-to-clean material, all while being fashionable? This is how Sarah Wells bags were born.”

The first bag introduced by Sarah Wells Breast Pump Bags is the Maddy bag! As functional as it is stylish, the Maddy measures 13″ in length, 8″ in width, and 11″ tall, and the straps on the Maddy have an 11.5″ drop! The Maddy was designed to fit most brands and models of breast pumps and although some may be to large for the convenient side pockets, they will fit comfortably in the main pocket of the Maddy bag.

Since most pumping mommies take their breast pumps to work with them, they need a place to keep their breast milk cold while they finish up their day at work. While some moms prefer to use the cooler that their pump may have come with, and some store their breast milk in a communal fridge at their workplace, there are some moms who just aren’t comfortable with that! For those of you who prefer discretion, you’re in luck! The Maddy bag has undergone testing that shows that the side pockets of the bag can keep your refrigerated breast milk cold, or begin cooling your recently pumped milk, for up to four hours when you use proper ice packs. External temperatures do affect this though so always make sure that your breast milk is stored properly!

There are so many great features to the Maddy bag by Sarah Wells Breast Pump Bags that make this a pumping moms must have! To learn more about Sarah Wells Breast Pump Bags, use this link!

Giveaway: Lansinoh Signature Pro Breast Pump & Hands-Free Bra, 1/20-2/7

Lansinoh Signature Pro Breast Pump

From Christy at Uplifting Families:

The moment that I found out that I was pregnant with my youngest son, I immediately knew that I wanted to breastfeed him. I never worked with my older two children and had no idea what type of breast pump to use. After careful searching, I figured out that I would need a double electric breast pump, so that I could pump milk from both breasts at the same time. When I was working I took two 15 minute breaks and used part of my lunch hour to pump. This worked well for me, and it was a schedule that was doable with my employer.

Lansinoh and Klout gave me to the opportunity to receive a Signature Pro Double Electric breast pump. The Signature Pro series is designed to mimic your babies natural feeding pattern. It has three custom settings to allow you to adjust the breast pump, so that it is comfortable for you. I love that the pump comes with its very own carrying bag; it helps you disguise your breast pump. You can easily fit all of your accessories and pump into the carrying bag. When I was pumping for my youngest son, I always kept a few breast pads and extra accessories in my bag in case I needed them.

The prize package also includes a Lansinoh hands free bra. It is a size S-XL. This is one thing that I wish that I had when I was pumping. You can pump while reading a book, or you can continue working if you are lucky enough to have a private office. The four-way layering support system helps secure the pump flanges to maintain a tight seal while the 10″ adjustable VELCRO¬ģ brand closure panel provides the right fit over time as you lose your baby weight.

I have teamed up with Lansinoh, Klout, and several other bloggers to giveaway a Lansinoh Signature Pro Breast pump, Hands-Free Bra, and a few other breastfeeding goodies. One lucky winner will be chosen at random on 2/7/14. The winner will have 48 hours to respond to the winning email. This giveaway is open to the continental US only and must be over 18 years old to win. Good luck and don’t forget to enter the giveaway using the entry form below.
