Review: Organicasaurus baked organic corn snack by Good Boy Organics

Organicasaurus by Good Boy OrganicsAbout:

Good Boy Organics sent me two bags of their Organicasaurus snacks. These dinosaur-shaped, real cheddar cheese puffs are baked, certified USDA organic, gluten-free, and non-GMO.

Our Experiences:

I’m a salty snack person (although, I usually won’t say “no” to ice cream or chocolate), so I’m always trying different types of chips, cheese puffs, crackers, and other salted foods. I loved these! So did Baby J. We also shared a bag with some friends, and these puffs were gobbled up quickly.

The ingredients list only has one “suspicious” ingredient on it: silicon dioxide. Good Boy Organics actually explains on their site that it’s a naturally-occurring mineral found in foods like fruits and veggies. I did some further research and found out that silicon dioxide is not considered dangerous when eaten. I do it every day, in fact. It’s in my coffee, my creamer, my oatmeal, and so on.

I used the store locator on the Good Boy Organics website and found a market close to me that carries these puffs. I’m planning on stopping there after running this morning, because I’m happy to have found a tasty, non-GMO, organic snack to fulfill my salt cravings. The only issue I can see with these is the temptation to eat an entire bag by myself in one sitting. Yup, I have no will power. As I’m writing this post early Tuesday morning, I’m becoming increasingly hungry thinking about the puffs I’ll consume later today!

They also make a Baked Organic Potato Snack, otherwise known as BOPS. This snack is sold in four flavors: sea salt, barbecue, aged white cheddar, and sour cream & onion. Not into salty snacks? Good Boy Organics also makes pasta sauces, tomato purees, and tomato concentrate.

For more information on GMOs, organics, and more, check out the Good Boy Organics’ blog. Also follow them on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest.

Note: The folks at Good Boy Organics sent me two bags of their Organicasaurus snacks. I was not compensated for this post. I loved the snacks, but that’s my opinion. Yours may differ!
