Review: Valentine’s Day cards by the Red Letter Paper Company

When stores rolled out their Valentines’ Day cards shortly after Christmas, I perused the card aisle looking for a special card that was both romantic and unique for my husband. There are only so many cards out there though, or so I thought…

Have you ever gone to a baby shower or a birthday party and someone else showed up with the same card? I have. 🙁 That’s what makes little stores like the Red Letter Paper Company so fantastic. The Red Letter Paper Co. sells Christian cards with a modern edge. The front of each card has a catchy phrase, appealing graphic, or sweet message; while the back of each card features a corresponding Bible verse.

I was given the opportunity to choose two Valentine’s Day cards from the Red Letter Paper Co. to review. Although there were several cards I really liked, I knew the “Love is patient, love is kind” card was perfect for my husband and me. Taken from 1 Corinthians 13, these verses were featured on our engagement invitation and the theme at our wedding!

Love Never Fails Card

The second card I chose says, “One card isn’t enough to say everything.” This card will be perfect for family or other loved ones, for an anniversary, Valentine’s Day, or “just because.”

One Card Isn't Enough

Both cards arrived with envelopes, wrapped in a cello sleeve (it’s recyclable!) for protection against spills and smudges.

Wrapped Cards

The cards are made with heavy card stock and measure 4.25″x5.5,” so there is plenty of space to write a personalized message inside.

Cards are blank inside for personalization.

The back of each card has a Bible verse printed. Both cards I chose have 1 Cor. 13:13 written on the back.

I think their cards are elegant and beautiful. The colors look muted in the photos I took (poor lighting), but they’re actually quite vibrant. I’m planning on purchasing Easter and Mother’s Day cards (Shhhh! Don’t tell!) from The Red Letter Paper Co., because that’s how much I like these cards! They also sell art prints for the walls of your home as well as notecards with beautiful, inspiring photographs printed on the front.

One of my favorite things about The Red Letter Paper Co. is their commitment to “being as green as possible.” The company prints their cards on recycled paper, and both their cards and envelopes are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council for meeting forest management standards. Finally, their cards and envelopes are also made carbon neutral with 100% wind power.
