Review: Glade Expressions

Have you heard of the new Glade Expressions Collection? If you’re like my husband and I, and have to have air fresheners in your home, then these might be a good choice for you. They are free of phthalates and blend in with your household decor.

Because I’m a BzzAgent, I was given manufacturer coupons to purchase (at no cost to myself) the Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser starter kit and the Fragrance Mist starter kit.

I chose the Oil Diffuser starter kit in the Lavender & Juniper Berry fragrance.

For the Fragrance Mist starter kit, I chose the Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice scent.

Our Experiences:

My two biggest complaints with the old-fashioned wall plug-ins are that my son gets into them (unless they’re up high), and they take up needed wall sockets. On that note, if I put the plug-ins up high, so my son can’t reach them, they definitely take up needed sockets, since the ones up high are mainly for kitchen or bathroom appliances. The oil diffuser solves this issue, and it really does look elegant sitting on the mantle. It’s a great deal more attractive than a traditional wall plug-in. The holder for the fragrance mist isn’t as nice-looking as the oil diffuser, but it looks better than a bottle of fragrance spray sitting alone.

I loved the lavender & juniper berry scent. It’s really nice because it does fill the living room and kitchen, but it doesn’t cause an overpowering smell. I also liked the fuji apple/cardamom spice scent. Whenever the cloth diaper pail starts getting stinky, I spray the mist right above. It kills the odor!

If I had to pick between the diffuser kit and the mist, I’d choose the mist. It’s not as nice looking, but I did feel that after about a week the diffuser kit started to lose its potency. The Glade Web site claims the diffuser can be used for up to 30 days before it needs to be switched out, and I’d probably change it every two weeks.

Note: As a participating BzzAgent for BzzAgent.com, I received free manufacturer coupons to purchase the Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser starter kit and the Fragrance Mist starter kit at no cost to myself. However, I was under no obligation to review these products. The opinions expressed above are my own and may differ from the opinions of others.
