Review: PottyCover

PottyCover-11bHave you heard of the PottyCover? If your little one is potty learning, and you don’t want to be tied to your home during the process, this product may be the solution for you!

The PottyCover is a disposable seat cover that makes a barrier between your child (or you!) and nasty public toilets.

Each package contains six individually wrapped covers, making it easy to stash a couple in your purse, diaper bag, or even your pocket.

Features:
  • Oversized design
  • Double layered
  • Soft non-woven fabric on top
  • Plastic on the bottom
 Our Experiences:

It works exactly as expected, with plenty of coverage on the sides for little hands to grasp and hold on. When my SIL first pulled one out of the package to use with her little one, she noted how long it is on the front. Her son leans up against the potty when standing to use it. The PottyCover will protect his clothes and himself from germs.

I took photos of the PottyCover in a public restroom of a major retail store that you probably frequent. The only stall wide enough for a stroller had a piece of poop on the floor and pad backing hanging out of the menstrual disposal. Obviously, it was gross. I did choose a photo that doesn’t show the poop, but I wanted to bring it up just to reiterate how disgusting public restrooms can be.

In the below photo, I’ve pulled the cover all the way up to the back of the toilet, but it still comes down quite far on the front. I believe this cover would work with numerous types and sizes of toilets.

Pulled all the way back and there's still lots of coverage on the front!

I really liked the covers! They provide plenty of coverage and a barrier from wetness for an adult or a child. After use, just fold or ball it up (without touching underneath) and toss in the restroom trash can.

  1. I don’t have kids – but I love funky looking toilet seats (my last one was barbed wire inside the seat and lid got a ‘normal’ one at the moment while we wait to move) so the spots just make me think cool loo seat! x

  2. I learned that it is waterproof. I love that it covers the front to keep clothes from touching and even better, that it covers the sides where the little one holds on. Public restrooms freak me out so these look like a little lifesaver.

  3. I like that the side flaps cover the sides of the toilet where little hands hang on. My kids are always doing this and it drives me nutty 🙂

  4. I love that there is enough going down the sides, that my little girl won’t touch the toilet directly!

  5. oNE Parent thought these were a lifesaver because her potty trained daughter held onto and touched every surface in public toilets – oh, I am looking forward that that!

  6. It’s double layered with soft non-woven fabric on the top, coated with a layer of plastic on the bottom to keep germs and wetness away.
